225000 to 500000 GPD Brackish Water RO
Reverse osmosis, also known as hyper filtration, is used to purify water and remove salts and other impurities. It is also capable of rejecting bacteria, sugars, proteins, particles, dyes, and other constituents that have a molecular weight of greater than 150-250 dalton.

The spirally wound membranes are housed inside a round pressure vessel. Water pressure is applied at the membrane inlet to remove disolved solids from the feed water. As the water flows across the outside of each membrane, the pressure drives pure water through the membrane and purified water exists through the internal permeate tube. The water remaining outside the membrane is concentrated typically sent to drain.

OPERATION SRECIFICATIONS
Feed water temperature = 95º F Max.
Hydrogen Sulfide must be removed
Feed water pressure = 20 to 80 psi
Turbidity should be removed
Operating pressure: 175 to 250 psi
Iron tolerance: 0.05 ppm Max. |
Feed water TDS: 0-1,000 ppm, or higher as option
Hardness over 1 GPG requires water softener or antiscalant dosing
pH range: 3-11
Units can handle higher TDS by lowering recovery
Silica Tolerance: 25 ppm max. @ 60% recovery |
